Our comedians have featured on TV, Radio, Comedy Festivals, Late Night Talk Shows, won competitions, and have performed on every habitable continent! 

Founded in May 2009, Comedy Oakland has featured in SF Chronicle (India-born stand-up builds comedy utopia in Oakland), ABC7, KPFA 94.1FM, SF Examiner & East Bay Express.

Due to the COVID spike, we have gone online again! ​​Come and experience live online comedy at its finest!
HOW TO WATCH AN ONLINE SHOW
We are trying to make the online comedy experience as fun as possible for everyone. In order for that to happen​
  • ​We prefer everyone to have their audio and video on. It helps the comedians to see your faces and hear your laughter.
  • ​Please be courteous to the performer and other attendees and limit your noise to laughter only.
  • If there is something you want to share, post it in the chat.

Founder of Comedy Oakland, ​Samson is the world's only Indian Jewish Standup Comedian. He has been featured on NBC, CBS, NPR, SF Chronicle and has performed all over USA, Canada & India.

On his very first Comedy Oakland show on May 1st 2009, the headliner didn't show up! He's still managed to run shows every single week since.

Ira decided the comedy scene really needed another middle-aged Jew from New Jersey.

A 2-time finalist in the U.S. Comedy Contest, Ira has performed at The World Series of Comedy Main Event multiple times, & has performed in 25 states across the U.S.

Ben joined the Comedy Oakland team to complete the trifecta of Jews running a Comedy Club in America.
